While it is true that Trump’s nominees are slowly getting through with McConnell’s help, he has a very large staff and should be able to multi-task and start pushing key parts of Trump’s agenda. Trump is making good on his promises to the American people. And we expect the Senate Majority Leader to BE and DO what his title suggests. Lead and facilitate the advancement of the president’s agenda. Respond to the will of the people.

While I am not a fan of McConnell myself, I think many of the legislative problems stalled in the Congress, are on the House side. And there, I agree, Ryan is not part of the Trump effort, no matter what his rhetoric of working with Trump sounds like.

We have the tax bill which, I believe, must start in the House.

Not sure about getting rid of Obamacare, but I think that is being held up in the House as well because there is no consensus among Republicans on what the solution to replace/repair/repeal the bill is. They had no problem while Obama was in office in presenting numerous bills that would repeal it but the president, of course, wouldn't sign it. Now, we have a big nothing burger from the same folks.

McConnell's got a thin Republican majority to work with and three of those are fighting Trump.... McLame, his girlfriend, Linda and Little Marco, who is grandstanding to become relevant again to run for president again.

Bottom line is, we are not getting out of either chamber the type of action one would expect from having majorities in both bodies.
