If they take fed monies... that’s how it works, right? Take our money and you do what we say.

Make “their” rules work against them.

If CNN is “contracted” - cancel the contract.

“FAA doesn’t control airports, just airplanes”

Correct. However, when you make a request - sometimes it works.

I was called for jury duty. While waiting to be called as a juror, there was just one large TV in the main waiting room. Most of the people were restless, moving around a lot, getting snacks from the machines, etc.

I finally went to the clerk’s desk, and I ask her if we could change the channel on the TV .. she said she controlled it from behind the desk. When I ask her if she would change it to FOX, she smiled a little grin, and said, SURE !! As soon as the channel was changed, everybody sat down and began watching the programs. AMAZING.

I’m sure it might depend on the city location of your court, but it’s worth a try.

I converted my mom from a life-long DemocRAT to a Repub (she really changed her registration), because I just kept changing the channel from CNN to FOX. This was during the run-up to the Gulf War.
