Used to go fishing in Canada, eh. Now you need a passport. Screw dat. Plenty of other lakes in the USA.
We used to go to Mexico twice a year. Haven’t been once since they decided we need a passport. We go to Hawaii instead. Yeah, I guess we’re lazy.
Remember when you would just flash your id, they would ask just two questions: where to and how long. Hard to believe.
U.S. citizens don’t actually need a passport to get into Canada. A birth certificate and drivers’ license is enough. But you do need one to get back into the U.S. Well, I guess you could get back in, eventually, but it would be a major hassle.
