The Obama administration has denied President Donald Trump's claims that Barack Obama wire-tapped his phones at Trump Tower before the election.
Ben Rhodes, the former policy advisor for Obama, blasted Trump's accusations on Twitter: 'No President can order a wiretap. Those restrictions were put in place to protect citizens from people like you.'
Rhodes' response came shortly after Trump fired off a flurry of tweets early Saturday morning claiming that the former president had been spying on him in October, a month before his election victory.
'Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my 'wires tapped' in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!'

I hope that Trump is wiretapping, investigating and surveilling 0bama right now with legally obtained warrants. He has every justification to do it. Sedition, illegal wiretapping of Trump, diversion of funds from government settlements and penalty judgements without congressional approval to favored Leftist groups (aka Treasury theft). And much more, that’s just the recent stuff within the last week or so!

Anybody that reads the news knows the NSA wiretaps everybody. Are they saying the President can’t access those taps? Just like the IRS didn’t target the Tea Party. Their turn is coming.
We are no longer dealing with speculation that Obama tapped Trump’s phone lines, we are dealing with the fact that Obama put a tapp on Trump’s phone lines.

Who did your administration share that information with?
How quickly will this devolve into "executive privilege? Personally, if they get Obama and his administration claiming that, it's over. I'd call that evidence it occurred and Trump should call on resignation of everyone leftover from Obama--Comey comes to mind. Appoint a special prosecutor with broad authority to investigate the actions and in-actions of the Obama administration in regards to wiretapping US citizens and sharing or using that for political purposes.
