At least 10 people were arrested and many others bloodied and bruised as a Berkeley rally supporting President Trump turned violent Saturday when fistfights broke out between marchers and counterprotesters, and crowds of masked anarchists joined the fray.
“This is a sad day,” Berkeley Councilman Ben Bartlett told reporters. “We’re better than this.”
The rally, one of several pro-Trump events held across the United States, began at 2 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park. That’s less than a mile from the UC Berkeley campus where a violent protest Feb. 1 forced the cancellation of a speech by right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos.
The fighting Saturday started even before the event began, with people throwing punches, swinging signs and tossing smoke bombs. Hundreds of people filled the park, with anarchists and counterdemonstrators far outnumbering what rally sponsors estimated were 60 to 75 Trump supporters.
By 3 p.m., the self-proclaimed anarchists were dominating the crowd. Dressed all in black and wearing cloth bandannas over their faces, they stopped traffic as they marched from the park through downtown with the smaller mix of Trump supporters and counterprotesters. In the park, people opposed to Trump threw eggs and burned both American flags and the red “Make America Great Again” Trump campaign hats. Kiki Valenzuela, a sophomore at Berkeley High School, was at the rally to protest Trump. She wore a short-sleeved shirt reading “liberal elite” and said she was excited for her first taste of activism. But when the crowds became violent, with people beating each other until they bled, the 16-year-old became scared and ran to the perimeter.

It's at that point where one needs to be armed at a pro-Trump rally. The cops confiscated bats, chains, knives and bricks from the counter-protesters (liberal anarchists). Scary stuff done by the evil liberal side to shut down good people.
Too bad they uninvited that white nationalist group that kicked the libs a$$’s in Sacramento last summer. Things would have turned out different.

This is why I didn’t drive across the Richmond, San Rafael Bridge to attend the Berkeley Rally. I knew it would end something like this. Socialists are in charge of most the town’s resources. The police there are not allowed to act like normal cops in this sort of situation.
Just yesterday, I heard them arguing about pushing another rent control measure. I suspect if the city was sued by enough people for unequal protection under the law, this may change there ways, maybe. If you do go to a Berkeley rally for conservatives, be sure and take your cell phone, and appoint somebody to be the Film Man should something happen.
Unfortunately, I think that's the only way this crap is going to stop.

Our March 4 for Trump in Dallas, TX was without incident. We chatted happily among ourselves while holding signs, waving flags and supporting President Trump. We even had a young girl dressed up as the Statue of Liberty. Drivers honked their horns in support. No protesters showed up and we had a grand time. What is wrong with California?
Actually, most of the Beserkeley-ites are EXACTLY "this": Foul-smelling, foul-mouthed imbeciles who preach "tolerance" while abusing (verbally AND physically) anyone who doesn't toe their line.
Had breakfast this morning at our local joint not too far from the madness, and there were three older women and their cuckolded male companions chattering breathlessly about the latest "Trump is a Russian agent" rumors. Complete with their "look how hip we are" discussion of SNL's snarky comedy skits of the night before.
Thankfully, one of them insisted that they change the subject because "her blood pressure was rising" before our meals came, or I might have had a hard time digesting it.

If you were better than this, Berkeley people wouldn't be allowed to riot and destroy property as they do regularly. In fact this is exactly who you at Berkeley are.
Any word or thought or idea that Berkeley leftists disagree with has been met with anarchy and violence since the 1960's.
