Let's not forget this is the freak who went around licking the doorknobs of Gary Bauer's office years ago. I don't know if this is common among gay guys but in reading the singer Barbara Cook's autobiography recently, she mentions that her gay accompanist, Wally Harper, also got a kick out of licking doorknobs.\

Was that an attempt to spread disease to the non-homosexual openers of those doors?

There was a TV interview with a homosexual back in the late 70s- early 80s when AIDS had first been identified as spread by homosexual behavior (Before that it was GRID- gay related immune deficiency). He said that their plan was to donate blood as frequently as possible to infect straights. Then, he reasoned, funding for AIDS research would be massively increased. Does anyone else recall seeing or hearing it?
