Watch old movies and you will see men wearing suits at ballgames, the movies, etc.

My dad used to fly back in the late 60s. He said everyone was dressed up. Of course, flying was more expensive back then and not all could afford to fly.

Now adays, almost anyone can afford to fly. I do dress comfortably on a plane though. If I have to get out, I want to be able to move!

I admit I like casual, but I think in some cases we've taken it a bit too far.

I wore suits quite often and hated in back in the 60’s. My Dad wore one to work, and out dancing with Mom. Frankly, my income does not go as far as Dads did even while he was raising 7 children on one income. I can’t afford a suit while only making $38 an hour. It seems like I should be rich, but since I pay more in Federal taxes than I used to make a year 25 years ago, it may have something to do with that. That meme going around about making $10 an hour in ‘78 is true. THAT was solid middle class union wages.
