Conway suggests surveillance of Trump went beyond phones
NY POST ^ | March 13, 2017 | AP

Senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway is suggesting that alleged government surveillance of Donald Trump during his campaign may have gone beyond the president’s accusation that former President Barack Obama had his phones tapped.

Conway tells New Jersey’s Bergen County Record “there are many ways to surveil each other.” She says “you can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets — any number of ways.” Conway didn’t offer any evidence for the remark.

It follows Trump’s claim that Obama had Trump’s “wires tapped” at Trump Tower before the election. Trump hasn’t provided evidence and Obama has denied the charge.

FBI director James Comey has privately urged the Justice Department to dispute Trump’s claim but has not come forward to do so himself.

A senior congressional aide said Saturday that the House intelligence committee asked the Trump administration to provide by Monday evidence that the phone were tapped, a request reinforced Sunday by an influential Republican, Sen. John McCain.

t appears this has not been done very effectively which is worrying.

The holdup seems to be more the Senate than Trump. He has 24 nominations waiting for confirmation, and only has had 18 confirmed so far.

Trump is ahead of GWB, Clinton and GHWB in 1st month nominations sent in.

So far, that is unconfirmed hearsay from anonymous sources.

The FBI has been asked to confirm and has refused.

slight correction, he deflected the charge.

I noticed that Linda G had a meeting with Trump recently and since then has been quiet on the monitoring issue. I think McPain has gone out on a limb and I hope that someone chops it off. The guy is unhinged and when the smoke clears, he needs be removed from the Senate.

Linda also said she’d ‘get to the bottom of this’.

I smell an extreme IC shake-up and re-org coming, and voters will demand it when all this surveillance comes to light. DJT could hijack the CSPAN franchise with investigations that Americans would be glued to, perfect way to get the truth to them without the MenSeekingMen pre-interpreting for them.

Legally Trump can give specifics. The President can do almost anything legally. But then there will be the CIA leaking that he gave away secrets. He exposed methods and abilities. And then there will be some investigation that he will have interfered with. So Trump can do it. But he needs to understand how the press will attack back.

Honestly, I think her credibility is shot to pieces these days, and I don’t see her as an asset to the Trump message.

Why... because the MSM misquotes her (and everyone)? They'll misquote virtually anyone who speaks up... so should Trump have new people every month?

And bring Snowden back to be in front of a dozen hearings across the CSPAN channels. Get America glued to what zero has been doing to them for 8 years.

Get ready for flak, but I agree with you. Conway is not transitioning well, in her role as media messenger.

I believe Trump can no longer use her in the same way, as president, that he used her talent during her 90 days with his election campaign. Trump has a different job now, and many others are presently in his loop who have different competencies to help him govern, and not to campaign.

KAC for some reason seems to me to be completely reassigned, away from her media messaging job, and shouldn’t be doing interviews. If her title says she is an advisor, let that be it. I am sorry to see her look unprepared and tap dancing through interviews and appearing in them is doing her no favors.

Laptops have batteries so you would have to drain the battery all the way or remove it.
Apparently, many light sensors on devices are actually functional cameras and they were able to hack those as well. So even a TV with no camera feature could be used to get video.

KAC with the media was a buzz saw during the campaign, the tip of the spear and all the other cliches you can think of.

The contrast between then and now is pretty stunning.

“Why not have the president himself address the public with the evidence?”

Because that’s not the Trump style to lay the mousetrap.
First you put out the cheese. Then you let the mouse get the cheese.
Only then do you spring the trap.

It will not be President Trump springing the trap. It will be law enforcement.
Wait for it...

She was on FNF this am and playing it very close in. I suspect Trump has the goods and has laid a trap. My since wish(hope) is that McLame has fallen for it and gets a face full by the end of the week.

Please, AG Sessions, enforce as much justice as possible on that swamp as quickly as possible. Thank you.

Sessions did not recuse himself from investigating the Obama administration, did he? But I think the Obama admin can rest assured that even Sessions will not go after their own, it just won't happen.

The Left has walked into every single trap he has set for them. RINOS, too.

The fusion of Sun Tzu and Alinsky his team has spliced together has been breathtaking, and it’s only just beginning.

Unfortunately, I believe you are correct.

Hillary should be in jail. Where is our “lock her up”? Instead, Trump toasted to her and the Bent One at his inaugural luncheon.

KAC is going to have to supply evidence of this to McJuan or retract.

No. She's not.

In this situation, holding information for the right time is the right move.

McCainiac can suck it.

an influential Republican, Sen. John McCain

Influential to whom? RINOs, the Left and the Lame Stream Media?

Geez, Arizona voters. You had one job, ONE JOB, last election cycle, and you blew it big time!

Thanks for your flawed opinion.

Why not have the president himself address the public with the evidence?

Because President Trump might know what he's doing?
