In todays hypersensitive bizarro environment, where people are quite literally having mental breakdowns following the election of President Donald Trump, everything that used to be normal appears to now elicit howls of racism, xenophobia and sexism.
In the latest example we turn to Iowa, where students from Valley High School attended a basketball game in traditional red, white and blue attire they reportedly wear to big games. One would think that showing support for their team wearing the colors of the U.S. flag wouldnt even raise an eyebrow, but youd be wrong.
First, for some context, here is a picture of the offensive clothing worn by Valley High School fans at the game:
At first glance it certainly doesnt look like these folks are engaging in any racist activity, but then, what do we know?
This is an example of BLATANT racism, said Ty Leggett, a Valley High School alum, on the Valley High School WDMCS Facebook page. ALL participating should have been pulled and banned from ALL VHS extracurricular events for the remainder of the year! As a parent, Id be mortified that my son or daughter thought this way, acted in this fashion and refrained from taking a stand against this 21st century inexcusable behavior!
Erin Ness Carter, a mother living in the Iowan district, remarked that for the supporters of one team from a primarily white part of town to paint themselves as the team of the USA it strongly implies that the other team, the less white team, is less American.
One Valley High School student, Dayna Dunnwald, noted that the schools students had dressed with a USA-theme instead of their black and orange school colors many times in the past.

Oooh...I really like Unapologetic.
She doesn’t look especially guilty. Though hard to really tell from the picture. I’ll give her a conditional Not Guilty.
I thought about putting quotation marks around “special” for that very reason.
But I had already used up my limit of “s in that post
I was at my daughters tumbling lesson a couple of weeks ago and there was a teenage girl wearing a Trump t-shirt. I was happy that this girl was proudly wearing and supporting our President. I did overhear a couple of parents commenting about the girl. They were upset over her wearing the t-shirt. Me: happy that they were offended, get on board or get out of my country.
The commie bastards won’t be satisfied until the star field is replaced with a hammer and sickle.
People should be free to wear whatever they choose. Myself, I choose not to wear my flag as a piece of clothing. I find it disrespectful to be covering my ass with the flag I fought for and so many thousands have died for.
I do wear a motorcycle jacket sometimes that has patches from my old unit, a few patriotic slogans and an American flag patch and I am proud to do so. But that’s just me.
If it comes down to honoring the entire United States of America or honoring only angry black racists, I wonder which the country will pick.
as do the flags of, New Zeland, Chile, Texas, Mexico, Taiwan, Slovakia, , , ,
I’ll, ahem, TRUMP that. I’m also a heterosexist, Zionist, speciesist, ableist, islamophobe (hence my tagline), xenophobe, extraterrestrial-phope, vulcan-phobe, zatarian-phobe,Klingon-phobe, Yoda-phobe, Jedi-phobe, Bigfoot-phobe, unicorn-phobe, anything that looks and/or acts differently than me-phobe.
Just be glad you don’t live in Squaw Valley...............
Against a disarmed populace. We are unique and history will not repeat itself.
Though I've never served in the military, it seems disrespectful to me, as well. After 9-11, a friend gave me a couple of patriotic sweatshirts emblazoned with the flag. I've never worn them.
[ It Is Now BLATANT RACISM To Wear Red, White And Blue ]
So THAT’S what got Seth Rich killed! /HillaryDNCDeflection
You might want to have your color vision checked - Mexico has green, not blue. There are plenty to add to your list: Great Britain, France, Norway, Netherlands, Liberia, Slovenia, Serbia, Russian Federation...
We need to start labeling the left and people expressing similar views to Ty leggett as America Haters/Anti-American, etc. That is what they are and should be shamed as such. Put these idiots on the defensive and make them own their disgust for this country.
I believe any discussion with this person should begin with, “You’re fairly stupid, aren’t you?”
The cries of “racism” are pretty lame. But I have never liked the idea of turning the flag into apparel - let alone tank tops and baggy shorts.
Fortunately most of us don’t have to live in the fantasy world these leftist freaks have devised for themselves.....
