Canadians seem to love it, though. Perhaps anyplace above zero is appealing to them in the winter.
They love it because it’s relatively cheaper than other island destinations. There are resort hotels that if you stick to them alone you can have a passable vacation. Since I have never been I can only pass on what others have told me.
