IMO each state should have a list of grocery stores that they approve to accept EBT cards as well as an approved list of items that can be purchased.
Controls are desperately needed on the where, how and on what when taxpayer funding is involved.
Now you can go into fast food places in soCal and they take EBT, so instead of making a burger at home for 1.25, , you can pay 3.49 at Carls JR and you and I pay for it.
