Hillary Clinton political operatives manufactured the illusion of a computer connection between Russian entities and the Trump campaign/organization.  Those manufactured points of evidence were then passed along to White House entities who used the political intel community (Clapper to Comey) to open an investigation of nothingness – to nowhere

Honestly, this Comey guy is just plain wierd.

He is a couple of fries short of a happy meal.

51 cards short of a full deck.

Had fewer votes than Joe Biden for potential Mensa member.

Outwitted by his goldfish in a tic tac toe game.

Voted out of his “climate change major” class because he couldn’t master the “Never Let Bad Data Ruin a Profitable Thesis” section.

The “man” is bonkers.

Comey’s days with the FBI are numbered. This sick application of Democrat hate politics with take down more anti-American RATS. This fight is long from over. Thank God that Trump won. There is hope.

The comments on the linked site are also interesting.

Sure wish the congresswoman would have asked the follow question.

Comey is a worthless pup.

Why do I get the impression that the FBI was simply cut loose by Obama to become a mob onto its own. Everything about Obie seems to have been either due to design or appears to be incompetence.
I hope Obama is indicted at some point.
I suppose I could wish in one hand and #2 in the other and see which fills up first.

she single-handily pulled

single-handily? This kind of thin drives me insane.

For all the pissing and moaning about Comey, 99% of it is just personal opinion - but this is different. She got him to admit, in essence, that they hadn’t provided their oversight groups with notification about this surveillance “because of the sensitivity of it”.

That is probably a violation of rule or policy that Comey himself put in place, so in and of itself, is probably not a big deal. We’ll find out, I’m sure.

Clearly it showed that they are not above hiding things from the oversight groups. Before everyone jumps up on their high horse, consider that could have been a good thing as well as perhaps a bad thing. What if he’d stated that they were investigating Trump and Trump’s polls took a nosedive and Hillary soared? I have no idea, only that too many of us on FR are jumping to conclusions in the absence of any kind of data and just making up the same kind of fake news we detest.

But words from the FBI Directors own lips are not fake and the accompanying body language showed he was not prepared with an explanation.

The fact is, there is only one known criminal action: the revealing of General Flynn’s name and leaking it to the press. While the Congresswoman did a good job in her questioning, shame on Gowdy and the rest for not directly asking the two men they had in front of them under oath, “were you the one who revealed Kelly’s identity or leak it to the press?”

Elise M. Stefanik is a young, freshman republican congresswoman

Ms. Stefanik is a second term Congressman, not a freshman.

No offense, but this is the third or fourth time I have seen this story on FR the past 24 hours.

Search.

Excellent analysis, and one of the best articles on this investigation. Bottom line: there is no pea in this shell game of distraction. Congress has NO intention of doing a serious investigation, but only pretends to care. Congress woman Stefanik was apparently not made aware that the most critical questions were not to be asked.

> “...And using a probative questioning timeline, she single-handily pulled the mask from FBI Director James Comey, yet no-one seemed to notice...”

Oh? I’m sure they DID notice. I highly doubt they’d let the train of inquisition to continue forward...too many Congressional necks on the block should anything be ‘known’ by the People.

Sorry, but the longer he remains in office, the less effective I’m seeing the administration. Not enough cleaning of house and damn sure nothing close to ‘draining the swamp’

Comey says they brief various organizations every quarter...or they don’t.

Who in the Obama administration was briefed about the investigation and when?

Who authorized the investigation?
