Sessions needs to be fired. He never should have recused himself. Comey is out of control doing whatever he wants. Giuliani or Christie would bring him to heel in a second. Sessions is weak.
That is certainly the way things appear. I’m keeping hope alive, it’s early yet.
I’m baffled at all these Freepers who think they have a better handle on this stuff than Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions.

There are guidelines, its a question of either standing up ethically or being removed with prejudice.
Sessions would have been turned into a weapon against Trump had he ignored the fact that he couldn’t oversee an investigation into an organization of which he had been a surrogate. Trump wanted Sessions to push back but Sessions looked down the road further and knew it was a battle lost before it began. Rather than allow Trump to get embroiled and tainted he minimized the loss to the team by getting in front of the issue.
If you think he ran from conflict we disagree.
I like Chris Christi because he is tough. I think he would have been good. Sessions may be too. We don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes.
