I can hardly believe that the GOP had seven years to get something together just in case this day ever arrived and they have a lousy bill to show for it. This is time wasted that could have been beneficial for the Prez, Congress, and the people. Typical Ryan...either he is the wizard of SNAFU or he is overtly working against our Republican President.

He has given NO indication that he has ever had any serious intention of working with and for Trump. He is bought & paid for by lobbyists and RINOcare is a prime example.

I am a Wisconsinite but not in Ryan's district. A pity too. Because I would thoroughly enjoy voting against him in his next primary. I'm doing my part to convince friends in his neck of the woods to do their part evicting him.

They botched this. Something should have been ready for Trump after 7 years. That said, Ryan needed to bring everyone together from all the caucuses. Each caucus should have presented their desires for what they wanted, and they all should have gone into a room, considered Trump’s input, and hammered that out. Then the bill could have been written, and they could have done the same after - again with Trump’s input. They needed to find a way to have as free market of a system as possible but still provide essential coverage and help to those who need it because if they don’t, they will lose swing voters, and the Democrats will swoop them up. Paul Ryan worked backwards and wrote the bill and then asked for input. Therefore, we’ve had a civil war going on to the delight of the MSM, and it looks inept. Then they needed to get public support (which is nill). If they had something with better consensus, they could have drummed up popularity and had Trump go on the road to sell it. The approval rating for this thing is dastardly. In my opinion, they might be better off to start fresh.

Trump wants to move on to taxes, but I am concerned that if we don’t get this done, it could cost us in 2018. If we do get it done wrong, it could cost us in 2018. Catch 22.

Tucker echoed my sentiments when he said it looked like someone’s homework they knew weeks before was due, but strapped it together in the last hours of the night.
