I’d be happy with Gowdy as a replacement. He doesn’t seem as Uniparty as so many of the others. [Mark Meadows would be great, but could he get the votes?]

This is utter fantasy; the only one replacing Paul Ryan as Speaker would be Nancy Pelosi if President Trump is unsuccessful by the 2018 midterms. Right now the only ones preventing his success are Republicans In Name Only and Paul Ryan is not one of them.
