When something fails, and you’re the person who is largely responsible for it, the best thing you can do is to immediately start work on repairing the damage. Don’t go on recess; stay on the job, find solutions, and get’r done. As with most disasters, there are usually multiple factors, or an event cascade, that caused it. This happened with the AHCA. Do the forensics and find a way forward to fix it. WE cannot afford not to.
