We aren’t going to get this much power again and we need to trust Trump. He got us here based solely on pure political instinct in a lot of headwind.
We are NOT going to get full tilt to the right, ever, with the way our country is headed and it’s not Trump’s politics either.
For me all actions are viewed thru the prism of getting as much as you can incrementally and thinking long term.
Ryan conceded the argument that there is a Federal entitlement to healthcare. That was never part of the Republican platform, and refusing to support that position was the correct one.
“For me all actions are viewed thru the prism of getting as much as you can incrementally and thinking long term.”
I totally agree. Where the country is didn’t happen overnight. It took decades of incremental change, with one exception: Obama. He screwed a lot up in less than a decade. And a lot of it was allowed to occur because of a timid corrupt GOP.
I don’t think the Republicans in Congress like being in charge. Now they have to work for a living. So far, they are proving themselves at best inept, at worst duplicitous.
Why do we have to trust him?
Is he Moses?
Did he use any political clout to get ryan et. al. to pass an even semi conservative bill?
Now he is willing to turn to dems instead of Conservatives.
That’s ####ing great.
