You sound very angry. It might help you to regain some perspective if you remember many of the "true" conservatives were in the #NeverTrump camp.

I am not "very angry" but I am very worried that President Trump will come to ignore who put him in the White House, the conservatives from the middle of the country, the south and north. I would not call Paul RYNO a true conservative but you can it you like. Your definition being from Virginia may be totally different than mine, different mindset, different life style. Heck I may think of you as a liberal if I ever ran across you.

It also may help you regain some peace if you remember that President Trump is dedicated to doing what is best for the American people--in a way you may like sometimes, and at other times not so much.

I am at peace FRiend and am wishing that President Trump is able to conquer the a$$wipes he is up against in DC. I wish him all the best because he is our only hope right now along with a hand full of conservatives in the House and Senate. BUT, it does not mean I will praise his every move and blindly worship him like a Trumpette Zombie. If you find my critique of his failures offensive and feel the citizens should only lay praise and roses at the feet of Dear Leader, than you have a problem and need to wake the HELL UP.

Thank you for the rebuttal.

Make it clear the end goal is repeal and that we are just trying to polish off parts of the turd as best we can - not replace it. And that the turd is still completely owned by the dims.

Sorry, the (R) touch it, it’s theirs from here on out. The ONLY way the (R) have kept from getting schlonged is by having their hands clean.

Try to polish a turd, and the media\DEMs (I repeat myself) will then have the ability to say, “It WAS getting *better*, but the (R)...”.

Its all true. It is important for Trump to rely on Trump and never again ANY RINO. They are trying ti crawl back in powere.Trump needs to exclude them from any say on anything. The people elected Trump— not Rinos.

If Newt’s take on the bill is correct, it seems that the Freedom Caucus prevented a bad bill from being passed.

Several people here on FR have been very critical of the Freedom Caucus...but if a bad bill had been passed, it would have been very bad for our country and for President Trump.

I remain cautiously optimistic that it *is* being done. Trump and the House republicans have signaled that contrary to Ryan's implications, the effort to repeal and replace continues. And Trump met with the Freedom Caucus members yesterday. I trust the HFC to "hold the line" as we like to say here.

And they were horribly wrong. Its good that the bill did not pass, it was a sluch job for the Insurance Companies and Big Pharm. The Insurance companies are going orgasmic over the fact that people are paying 6 tghousand dollar deductables , skyrocketing their profits under a recreation of the pre Obamacare system.

That’s what was attempted by Ryan. It was a collossal sell out of America.

Now Ryan is talking about bringing health care legislation back for consideration, but the Lobbyists are all over it, while Americans themselves have little direct input.

That has to change, big time.

Stopping that bill was a good thing, but I’m not going to put the Freedom Caucus on a pedestal, they’re not pure as the driven snow. Some of the opposition was just pure obstructionism that would have occurred regardless of whether or not it was a good bill or a bad one, and may continue to occur in the future. Such individuals need to be called out. That’s why it’s a pity that Trump didn’t get the up or down vote that he called for, instead of Ryan pulling the bill.

1. Completely repeal Obamacare, including the individual mandate.
2. Enable consumers to buy insurance across state lines.
3. Exclude all health insurance premiums from taxation, not just employer-sponsored insurance.
4. Allow individuals to use Health Savings Accounts.
5. Require price transparency from all healthcare providers.
6. Block-grant Medicaid to the states.
7. Allow U.S. consumers to buy drugs from overseas.

*******************************

This is so simple but apparently impossible for Ryan. Ryan is owned by Big Insurance and Big Pharm. The Industry wants a return to the pre Obama Care regime, after successfully convincing Americans over the last 7 to live with $6000.00 deductions, which if continued, will sky rocket industry profits.

Its Ryan’s job to give these profits to the Industry. He could care less about this perfectly fine 7 point regime that America wants, indeed what America was promised.

Ryan’s goal is to hoodwink America. President Trump will destroy his own presidency if he goes along with Ryan.
