Oh good. Now we get to watch government solve people’s problems for them. It is wonderful that the government is not only compassionate, but so darn effective, that this won’t cause more problems than it solves.

Sadly, it often seems that the fact that that is sarcasm is lost on conservatives (or many of them), who see no problems here. If conservatives are going to be this stupid, then who in the world are going to be the adults in the room?

Agreed. When you set out to stop people from making bad decisions, the only way to do that is to infringe upon the civil liberties of EVERYONE. Look for more property confiscation, midnight no-knock raids on the wrong houses, and roadside searches in an effort to stop this.

My best solution? Let the addicts take their poison until they die. Then spend 50 bucks on a cardboard coffin.
