Babe McCarthy was the men's basketball coach in the 1950’s and early 1960’s and led the team to multiple SEC championships. Adolph Rupp was Kentucky's bb coach at that time. At one game, State fans were said to put a dead skunk under KY’s bench. I never learned if that were true. Dak Prescott was State's quarterback who plays for Dallas. Back at that time, State played a very slow offense. One score was something like 25-23. We had a great time as students. I am still in contact with both high school and State friends on FB. Your lesson for today. : )
