Giving people money is racist? How about welfare?
It sounds like you're white and she's black. Any interaction is therefore RBD (raisis by definition).
What an idiot. Tipping is promoted by restaurants so they can pay the servers a ridiculously small hourly amount and post a price that does not include the tip (or tax) to fool you into thinking that the price is low.
Lousy service is racist.
The left can not tolerate established norms of western culture.
They feel compelled to tear it all down.
What would Satan do?
I can promise that without tips, service will decline. Tips are a huge motivator in a job that can be intense at times. I am a waitress, if tipping ends then I, and others like me, will find an easier way to make a little spending money.
As it is in our rural area, its next to impossible to find waitstaff as you need to be well spoken, read people/body language, move quickly, work hard and give up nights and weekends.
Being racist is racist when accusing someone of being a racist. Then there’s NASCAR.
Welfare = compensation for laziness.
“I don’t think tipping was particularly racial
It was more a matter of customers showing off their wealth,”
= = =
So giving is bad.
But they will quote the Bible to give to the poor.
However, this giving to the poor is Govt controlled giving (welfare) of tax money.
Personal giving is bad (if you have any left after taxes you aren’t taxed enough)it is racist, or show-off, or for Proselyting.
We all be racis’.
As a general statement, black people don’t tip. There are exceptions to that statement, however as a general rule, blacks don’t tip.
If only the Dems heeded their own criticisms of others.
Waitress is the new Negro
The waitress is acting as a salesman. The more she sells, the higher her commission, (tips). With no commission, there is no incentive for the waitress to increase her sales.
If the restaurant looses it’s commissioned sales staff, it’s sales go down.
The left is once again demonstrating it’s lack of grasping simple economics.
Once $15/hr is universal in restaurants, if that ever happens, I will tip very little. My retirement income averages less than that.
Sheesh l thought this must be an April fools story..
But try to get a lap dance without a tip.
Money extracted by force - GOOD money
Money extracted by voluntary exchange - BAD money
Uhhh...OKAY...?
Here’s the deal: Without regard to all the BS, I go out to eat to be spoiled with good food and excellent service.
If the food sucks, the restaurant manager gets a piece of my mind and gets a bad rating to-boot.
If the service sucks, the manager also gets a piece of my mind and the server gets a quarter tip to call someone who cares, without regards to any other factor.
Everything else - min wage et al - is all BS.
Anyone here arguing against me is a hypocrite.
