If tipping is racist, and racism can only be directed at Black people, and if only White People are racist, then I, being White, would be racist to tip any waiter or waitress who happens to be Black, no matter how well he or she does his/her job, because leaving a tip would be virtue signalling my White privilege and cause offense, but tipping my usual 20% to a White Server would be OK because there is no racism involved, and therefore no virtue signaling, and the underpaid server will be happy to receive my tip, especially since the IRS is ASSUMING tips are being received and will tax accordingly.
I hope that Black Waitrons will appreciate my NOT tipping them.
It is, after all, the only RIGHT Thang to do!

Actually, leftists hate the concept of "tipping" because it's anti-egalitarian. One person shouldn't be rewarded for doing a better job than someone else. Everyone should be paid the same for holding the same job title. It's not fair to those who suck at their jobs, or just don't want to put in any effort.

* Those tipping are more privileged than the server, ban it.
* Prettier and nicer people get more tips, this is unfair, ban it.
* Throw in racism accusation, ban it.
It is insofar as it is whites who feel compelled to tip at a good rate. Not so for all races...
I've often said that the Waitress/Customer relationship, is a mutual admiration society.
I admire their personality and hard work.
And they admire my tip.
I have 2 restaurants that I have been fairly regular to for 10 years or more.
I try to be VERY pleasant to everyone and tip well.
Whether I'm at a waiter/waitress' table or not, they stop and say hi, fill my coffee, take plates, check to see if I need anything.
Maybe it's strictly because of what I have done in the past, or maybe it's partially in hopes of future visits.
Either way, WE BOTH benefit.
I love waiters - professional people who bring me food. What is not to love?! As my professor in culinary school always says: don’t anger the cook. I would add: don’t annoy the waiter.
I did it again finishing college.
Got to see a lot of what the staff deal with.
Learned how wait staff viewed certain things and certain people.
NEVER EVER go to a restaurant after church and leave a stingy tip. (and then leave a tract)
Most stores have regular staff meetings, where managers point out the good and bad being done.
Seldom do managers deal with the good from customers. Usually it's "this was wrong", "this was cold", "this was...".
I seldom complain, unless there is a REAL issue.
But I do look for opportunities to stop a manager when I'm leaving and brag a waiter/waitress up.
A good manager will relay the praise, encouraging that person. If they do it in a staff meeting, amongst peers, even better.
Positive praise reinforces positive actions.

Black people don’t tip.
I just tipped a girl 20 bucks for getting me a window seat at a restaurant on the 30th floor in Seattle. And all I ordered was a beer. I didn’t realize I was such a racist. I will have to find her next time I go and demand the 20 bucks back for exploiting her.

As it is, I NEVER TIP if I know that the person serving me is making $10/hour, or more...they are already paid sufficiently. If less, then I tip very well. Here in Texas, we use the federal level of a bit over $2/hr, so I tip good.
But not when I travel to leftist states.
Regarding the small tip with a tract; you are right. It’s a way to embitter unbelievers towards Christians and the Savior they proclaim.
To illustrate how deflating that is, I can still remember someone leaving a tract that looked like a $10 bill (would have been a big tip at the time) from when I was in high school with no tip. I was very excited as I went to clear the table-but when I picked it up I saw it was a tract. At the time I thought that it was a good thing that I got it because not one of the other waitresses were Christians.
Decades later, I am back to waiting tables. Customers probably have no idea how well waitstaff remember faces, treatment and tips. The son of friends of ours left a note of thanks for the service along with a good tip for a co-worker of mine. I can’t tell you how much that meant to the waiter , and as I knew the customer was a Christian, it gave me an opportunity to witness to my co-worker.
OK, I won’t tip anymore. I will have some cards printed with Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges’ name and address on them and a brief description of her anti-tipping rant to hand to disappointed waitresses and others who expect tips.
