Having lived there for a few years, Japan is a pretty homogeneous society. Granted, they are an island nation, but the thought is laughable to me that they would allow unchecked illegal invasion the way we have.
It would be a no-go with them. No doubt in my mind. They wouldn’t be as against it as one might think, I think it is more likely they would be baffled.

Americans need to reprogram their brains with the "immigration as long as they assimilate!" nonsense.
Only western nations do this. There's been a pro-immigration propaganda campaign in the West, especially America, for 100+ years. And it's lead to disaster.
Someone on this board talks about how Iranian immigrants were getting out of hand to the point of rioting in front of their embassy. They got rid of them. I’ve heard of a raucous Halloween party on a public train that caused hard feelings towards foreigners. I watch videos of Americans living in Japan and really love the country. Do you speak the language? If so, I’m jealous. Any pointers on getting started?
