Reports say a new chemical attack has been carried out in Syria, this time on a village in the northern area of Hama, various sources said on Thursday.

Syrian President Bashar Assad's helicopters reportedly dropped barrel bombs filled with chlorine on the village of Al-Lataminah. Yellow clouds were reportedly sighted over the village.

He’s not an innocent man but I believe he is a rational man, I do believe he is dependent on Russian political as well as military support and therefore his using WMD from undeclared stocks of CW in his country is just not a believable scenario - especially since he is slowly winning

The U.S. even accepted his presidency just last week, at least for now

The false flaggers overstepped it with their timing
Just too obvious
Strategy Amateurs

Again

Here is a US firm contracted to destroy Syrian CW declaring “ mission accomplished” in 2016 - think Assad is gonna launch WMD now?

From the first paragraph of the linked article:

“Conflicting reports say a new chemical attack has been carried out in Syria, this time on a village in the northern area of Hama, sources said on Thursday. The attack could not be confirmed independently and later reports said plumes of smoke taken to be a gas were in fact just dust from regime bombardments in the town.”

This may not have actually happened. Given the political and military pressure afoot, I can see no motive for it.

I am not blaming America first. I am blaming Deep State for running a secret campaign to destabilize and delegitimatize the Trump World, again with Soros money and the major NeverTrumpers joining forces, to sucker the Trump World into a hopeless ground war in the Middle East once again. The facade that the Assad regime or the Russians would be the villains here does not make sense if the objective were to eliminate ISIS, but ISIS has a LOT to gain if it looks like Assad and the Russians were to go off on such a tangent.

The surrounding Arabic and other Muslim states are the parties who SHOULD be stopping the conflict, but again, they have no motive to behave in a civilized manner. This may be the eventual struggle that resolves whether Islamic supremacy belongs to the Shi’ites or the Sunnis. They must not be allowed in a position where they would unite and take over the objectives of ISIS for the drive toward a World Caliphate.

The Saudis need us to get dragged in so they can get their pipeline through Russia. Once again, we’ll be suckered into being Saudi mercenaries.

Yup. Name a time we had correct intel from the sandbox and I’ll neame ten where we were wrong. It’s not what benefits Assad, it’s what benefits the Saudis.

You think he did it but you don’t say how. Did he fly the helicopter?

I have long thought that the enemy is the one within. I think the rogues and the elites in the secret state are orchestrating a war of sorts. They want a one world government and a cashless society- its about ultimate control. Trump puts a temporary slowdown on their plans, but the next time dems/progressives get control that train will race down the tracks at a frightening speed!

They were tweeting out 15 minutes after the attack that it was chlorine. That seems a little too fast for that level of detail.

Was Stalin rational? If so, why did he murder so many Generals and important scientists? Tyrants can be rational and brutal to achieve the effects they desire. Assad’s father committed genocide, too. Was he rational? The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Would they like a quarter so they can call someone who cares?

Assad possibly would do something like this. ISIS (and don't kid yourself) has done much worse.

So I suggest that we stay out of it.

The idea that a tyrant only does what makes sense is an odd one for any person who has read the biographies of tyrants. Often times they do things to scare people, to intimidate them so they achieve the desired effect, submission. What could be more demoralizing to those who oppose assad and putin than to know that blatant mass murder is not going to be stopped or even admitted.

Agree.

Who gains from this or who has motive?

Assad was becoming more secure and ISIS was being defeated the way things were going. Why do this?

But if you’re morally-bereft ISIS, losing, and in particular going to lose control of this town, why not go scorched earth in a heinous manner if you can pin the blame on Assad?

For Trump and Haley, verbally posturing in public statements or diplomatic venues is OK for now. It gives the neocon Military Industrial Complex a squirrel to chase for a couple of days.

Trump’s big item this week is getting Gorsuch onto the Supreme Court by blowing up the filibuster rule once and for all. That will do more for the USA than anything going on in the ME right now.

My 1 1/2 cents

Good points.

I just hope Trump doesn't get conned by Crazy McCain, the neocons and others with an agenda to attack Assad (ISIS, etc). It is far more important to get rid of ISIS and handle other things. It would not surprise me if certain forces are trying to frame Assad.

The article even states that there is NO confirmation of this as a gas attack. This could have been nothing more than a dust cloud from a conventional bomb attack according to the article. So headline is sensational.

At this point in time I just don’t see the upside to Assad using g chemicals. More likely its the rebels.

Lets see.... within a very short time after the event, somehow we knew it was Syria? Is it we have to kill Assad to find out if he was guilty? Democrat law passing 101...

UN says it is Assad.
US News says it is Assad.
Terrorist say its Assad.

Russia says it is the terrorist.

I am with Russia on this one.

You don’t have a clue.

Haretz is not “Israel.”

Haretz is an extreme leftwing rag located in Israel that wants Israel wiped out more than the muslims do.
