A very different take on the chemical attack is seen on Russian Television.

The coverage here seems to be a much more honest take on the recent events in Syria. It was maddening watching western media yesterday and listening to supposed bright and intelligent people jumping to so many conclusions.

Don’t you think that RT (Russia Today) might be giving out a wee bit of propaganda here and there?

Yes, but it’s interesting to get a different perspective. It’s not like we can trust our own media either.

As does our media. I'm not prepared to say either is more dishonest than the other.

One would think that between SIGINT and drones and spy satellites, we’d have more than an wild idea about who did this.

Going to war or taking military action on hear say and in the absence of our own independent intel on the ground is a frightening thought.

Our own treacherous media would love to applaud Trump into a mistake.

Assad, you moron, you did it this time. Trump had your back, but you became arrogant and went after the cockroaches so openly. You stupid idiot.

Btw, I trust RT as much I trust AlQaeda Today or ISIS Today.

We do. But smart minds get the inside skinny from RT, SPUTNIK, and INFOWARS.

I am not a fan of RT. However, in this case it has a point. It also has covered much more extensively the horrors committed by the so-called Muslim refugees and asylum seekers in Europe than MSM.

I would hope so, but maybe the neocons within are getting desperate... https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2017/04/04/president-trump-has-it-wrong-on-syria-assad-did-not-use-chemical-weapons-deep-state-neo-cons-misleading-the-president/

It would be more comforting if our national security team could get out of the existing intel hole, in Syria, so the team could lead with the facts on the ground.

We are back on our heels on certainty, but leaning forward on conclusions. So many competing interests... including the media.

I wondered if we captured something that way, that confirms this initial finger pointing correct. The public in this media climate needs to know, before being sold on some plan of action.

Maybe some of Saddam’s hidden WMD’s were hit. We don’t need this. This is what Hillary would do. This won’t end well - it will at best result in the nation building crap again. Worse, like NKorea with the Russians playing the part of the Chinese. And don’t expect much help for our side. No, No and F No.

Putin and Assad are scum, Assad is partners with Iran who definitely killed US soldiers in Iraq but some folks speak well of Assad. Syria invaded a Christian nation in Lebanon so I wouldn’t put much in the myth that Assad protects Christians.

The first victim of war is always The Truth. But, this mess needs to be addressed and any proof that Trump has, as to whom set off these gas bombs, must be addressed to the people—an attempt must be made to find out why, who and how this attack was made. Then, and only then, we should act.

Of course they did... they never intended to keep it.. and this is just testing the new admins will... nothing more. This “false flag” nonsense is just the talk of fools and propagandists, and its disgusting to see so many here buy into it.

THe false flag crap last time was proven to be complete lies, Assad did it then, and he did it now... being fooled twice is inexcusable, shame on those who are trying to push this Russian propaganda.
