The United States launched dozens of cruise missiles Thursday night at a Syrian airfield in response to what it believes was the Syrian government's use of banned chemical weapons blamed for having killed at least 100 people on Tuesday, U.S. military officials told NBC News.
The U.S. military fired at least 50 Tomahawk missiles intended for a single target — Ash Sha'irat in Homs province in western Syria, the officials said.

Precision strike on the airbase supposedly where the chemical attack was launched. This was sanctioned by many countries and was not trumps complete responsibility.
Maybe Trump should turn the government over to Madman McCain and his buddy, Grahamesty. This action is way too hastily taken. For all we know the Turks may have flown that mission into Idlib. If this turns out badly, he will get absolutely no support from democrats or his own base. Even McCain will jump him. Pray that it is successful and that no American lives on the ground are sacrificed.

MSNBC is having a stroke. Shiff compares Obama’s wisdom with Trumps intemperance. “There is no legal basis. Nothing being done is permissible.” Congress did not authorize so this so it’s illegal - Democrat’s position.
My thought as well. This thing has sprinted along at breakneck speed.-
This is probably less about Syria than it is about Iran, China, and N. Korea.
I hope this FOOLISH action turns out to be an isolated event. I fear it won’t be. The only thing Ivanka OR ANYONE will have to do to move Trump in a desired direction is to say “babies & children” will be hurt unless you do as we say. And the doddering old fool will obey.

This seems really bad. US interests are poorly defined with respect to Syria and on that basis alone the action cannot be justified as being in accordance with the national interest.
