As breathtakingly incompetent as Jimmy Carter was, he didn’t hate his country. That distinguishes him from Barack Obama.
Who and what a president is as a person is one thing. How effective AS president quite another. The main difference between the presidencies of Carter and Obama is that Carter served for one term and Obama was two terms.

On January 1, 2016, Jimmy Carter sat at his kitchen table and made his New Years resolution. His resolution was, “2016 will be the year I am no longer listed as the worst President in American history”
