I don't know much about Uber, but I thought the vehicle had to be less that 5 years old?

Good thing Philadelphia doesn’t allow law-abiding citizens to carry weapons of self-defense

Or Uber...

An Uber will not let you carry a weapon in the car if you are a driver.>>> how would they know? It’s not like there are any other people running around other than the driver. Try calling the local office. i did once... no one home.

“We had basically realized that the person who her last fare was. We ruled out as any involvement in this issue. So as far as we know, Uber is not involved,” said Abington Police Sgt. Thomas Scott.

They would never know if you were carrying unless you had to use it. I would carry if I was a driver. If I had to use it, Uber would no longer allow me to drive...oh well, no biggie, at least I would still be a live to find another side job.

NSA’s open budget is around 10 billion. Snowden said it was around 50 billion off the books per year for surveillance and data collection in 2012, if I recall. They can’t even tell us how many work for the NSA, it is estimated between 30,000 and 40,000. The NSA is the largest employer in Maryland.

I’ve got to assume this was not originally a written statement. It’s bad enough that a police sergeant would ever have spoken such a verbal mishmash, but in writing it’s incredibly bad.

I think that was Fox 29 that I copied and pasted. I sort of got what they meant and it was in addition to what KYW and WPVI were using from the police press release.<p
I assume that means that Uber’s last customer of hers has been cleared and they have no idea where she went after dropping him off.

Sad ending. It looks like she might have committed suicide.

Should have a vehicle detector in the car.
