Georgia Dem: No issue I don’t live in district

Democrat Jon Ossoff dismissed concerns Tuesday over the fact that he doesn't live in the Georgia congressional district in which he's running for a House seat.

"I grew up in this district; I grew up in this community – it's my home. My family is still there," Ossoff said during an interview on CNN's "New Day."

Why would anyone that votes desire a REPRESENTATIVE of their district? What a silly peasant notion.

If he were a Republican, that’s ALL you’d hear about from the MSM.

That’s a VERY CONSERVATIVE AREA if my memory is correct.

The only way the Dems win this is by stealing it.

State law requires residency for state and local elections.

Feds don’t.

Heck, most Dimbulbcrats don’t live on this planet.

And they wouldn’t recognize an American flag even if one of their illegal voters tossed a burning one at them.

Milton, East Cobb, Roswell, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, John’s Creek, Dunwoody are all strong conservative areas.

The only Democrat area in the 6th is the South East portion (Tucker, Dorvaville area). Although I had a friend say that North Tucker and Doraville still have many conservatives left in that area. They vote.

I just don’t see how Ossoff can win unless it’s successfully stolen.

Voting machines reported stolen. Not reported to election commissioner until two days later. Just and oversight....Ya!

Jon “Pajama Boy” Ossoff no more should be the congress person of the Georgia 6th CD...then I should be dining on the Moon eating Swiss cheese. This Obama, Clinton, Hollywood, Democrat, left wing radical, progressive, low life, failure, belongs in the cesspool of the Democrat Party “Hate America” wallowing in forever failure.

Whether Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Independent, Liberal or Progressive, a vote cast for this malcontent, incompetent, buffoon, “Pajama Boy” is a totally wasted vote!!! Cast your vote today for any Republican and send this “clown” to the cesspool, he surfaced from, so that he can fancy himself as Obama’s lackey, pajama boy!!! Broom him, voters of the Georgia, 6h CD!!!

So he can’t even vote for himself? Don’t you have to be a resident of the CD to vote there? I would have thought you’d have to be a resident to run for office as well. How often have we seen potential candidates move into a district just to run there (oh, think Hillary Clinton moving to NY in ‘00).

Actually, come to think of it, using this rationale, I grew up (a long time ago) in the CD where the Clintons now live. Wonder if I can vote there if Chelsea decides to run for that seat, while continuing to live out of the CD, in NYC? What a world!

I blame the Republican Party for this debacle. A head-to-head Dem vs Rep primary would be a cakewalk for the Republican in this district. But they are allowing the Republican vote to be split about 12 ways against the one Democrat. If the lone Democrat can somehow get 50% tonight, there will be no runoff and a Democrat will have effectively captured what should have been a solid Republican congressional seat.

I'm predicting the the Democrat does not get to 50% and that we have a runoff in which the surviving Republican should easily win. But we didn't need to have this kind of drama.
