Since the failure, state and federal officials have taken inspection reports and design documents offline and refused public information requests for their disclosure.


Go figure. These bureaucrats don't want to jeopardize their cushy jobs and outrageous pensions.

Governors have priorities, and by all appearances, the inspection and maintenance of the tallest dam in the U.S. was not one of them for Mister Moonbeam.

The fact that this study comes out of Berkeley cast a very dark shadow of doubt over it.

There are going to be political strings.
