Exactly. I keep hearing how the shutdown really hurt the Republicans.... Really? I remember shortly thereafter there was the famous “shellacking”. the dems suffered not the R’s.
Yep, but the real problem is that many Republicans aren’t there for the professed beliefs, they are in D.C. to make money off of being in D.C. in ways that would be illegal for the rest of us little people.
