The earth, with an iron/nickel core, rotates beneath a magnetic field. The static electrical charge gathers on the top of the earth, which is an insulator over the core. When it gathers sufficiently, it discharges, which makes lightning.
Quietly, we are cataloging exoplanets with magnetic fields. Where you find these planets, you find water, atmosphere, etc.
If you harvested the electricity, you could get cheap power, not free power. The power would renew as long as 1) the Earth keeps turning and 2) we continue to have a magnetic field surrounding the planet.

Um..., my explanation..., you have such an advanced case of cognitive dissonance that you don’t comprehend those “pesky” argumentative fallacies? For example; “Begging the Question?” Can you see that your premises contain your conclusion?

One of the amazing things about people with cognitive dissonance is that they believe in not just one or two “conspiracy theories”, but in many conspiracy theories. Do you believe in any others? Or do you just believe in the classic WTC Demolition Conspiracy?
