Remember a few years ago when Somali pirates captured a Russian ship? When Russian special forces recaptured the ship they put the captured pirates including the dead and wounded back on their boat and riddled it with gunfire sinking it with all hands. The video tape of the event was widely circulated and I don’t recall any Russian ships being attacked since. Perhaps instead of bringing captured pirates to the US to stand trial they all are “killed” in the retaking of the ship and their home port is bombed sinking anything that floats.

Good for the Russians. Making fish bait out of them on the scene is the appropriate response. Alternatively they could load up the skiff with all the dead, fire it up within range of the Somali coast and “send the Somali’s a “message.”

‘So why the re-post now?
For one, Somali piracy is back in the news after years of calm. In March, Somali pirates were able to hijack their first commercial ship since 2012 – the oil tanker Aris 13. The vessel was released a few days later following a clash with local maritime forces and no ransom was paid.’
From the OA.

Some of us do not want piracy to start again.
Enabling by concealing should be exposed.
