Right you are Chris37, build the wall or resign, it a lot like when H Bush made the promise about “no new taxes”.

He went from they all have to go during the campaign, to we’ll work something out for the Dreamers, to now they can rest easy and only the bad hombres are going to be removed.
Only removing the illegal aliens already convicted of other crimes will leave millions of illegal aliens here with the opportunity to harm or kill Americans.
We should not have to wait until that happens before they are removed.

I think Trump will build the wall. I don’t think it needs to be a complete wall.

Trump vows the wall will be built

eVerify and eliminate benefits and a partial wall with extreme patrolling ought to work.

(As a side benefit, think of how many ‘educators’ would lose their jobs.)

The military is ordered to the border with immediate effect.

Private funds are raised/used to build the wall.

Neither of the above require Congressional appropriations.

“How does he punch through this??”

Trump would do well to study Obama on the exercise of POTUS power.

Announce he will not, under any circumstances, sign a bill that does not include funding for a wall (physical barrier) from the coast of California to the Gulf of Mexico.

And then stick with that proclamation.

Yep.

Failure on this will be complete and total, and I am no longer going to tolerate failure.

I will never f***ing vote GOP again if they do not get their sh!t together.

Sorry for my language.

It ought to be clear to anyone with a brain that since NONE of the hate-Trump crap has worked, the fake news media is at it’s last resort, trying to separate Trump from his base with fake reports.

It’s worked on one or two linguini spines, but most people see through it and dismiss it. This is good news. It means they are nearly out of ammo.

All I know is when I consider my vote in 2020, I am first going to look for a completed wall.

If I do not see a completed wall, no Republican will get my vote.

Tick, tock, tick, tock.

Correct.

In fact if it were me I’d make some areas without physical barriers but which are VERY well guarded - after watching this 20 sec. cartoon:

Anyone who says this is a moron. Trump won’t be President forever, and there’s no guarantees another Obama-dufus won’t be elected, and we’ll be right back to letting in every illegal that can make it across the border.

“we are not in the mood for bullshit.”

I think you should chill out a bit...Trump just got what he wanted..he used the $1.5 billion for the wall as a bargaining chip...he gets the budget AND gets a ton of money for border security tools and manpower that was needed and asked for by the Border Patrol Association.

Now he can put $10 billion in the real budget which doesn’t need 60 votes...the D’s can still filibuster the appropriation, but with a win on this budget, healthcare and taxes, that will be pretty hard to do in front of the American people.

And there will not be a border wall coast to coast because it isn’t feasible nor necessary. Build the wall where it makes sense and use that to funnel the crossers to choke points...that’s the plan. Also, the best wall you can build...end the free healthcare, welfare and housing for illegals.

Have some faith or you will end up shooting yourself in the foot!!!

“There are many areas where a wall isn’t feasible”

I have seen some areas of the Rio Grande around the Big bend area towards Presidio that a wall is not needed.

Trump is quickly losing my support and I suspect the support of millions just like me that FREAKING EXPECT HIM TO DELIVER ON HIS PROMISES - PERIOD. No ands, ifs, buts and especially NO COMPROMISES with the squishy Rs and the far left Ds.

Just another politician who doesn’t do what is required to live up to what he said he’d do once in office.

Is there ANYONE that will? I sure doubt it.

And exactly what part(s) of the border wouldn't be accessed by wetbacks and their “mules”?

You people are wrong who think Trump will get away with this. He needs to fight on this. If Ryan and McConnell don’t fund the wall in this budget, do you really believe they will in 2018? They are against a border fence. He’s not fighting the way he should be.

He's using it as a bargaining chip at this point and it's a smart move. Gimme everything else and I'll forego the wall......for now.

I'd be smiling my a** off with this "compromise" if I were Trump.

You'll see.

Might want to drop the Pres an e-mail letting him know about your expectations. I just did. The wall is not as important as “fixing” both our adverse judiciary and our adverse Congress. Actually, the wall is integral to those two fixes. Just wondering if Trump could start “taxing remittances?”
