Other than the spectacular view from there, what advantage is there to living long-term on the moon?
As a first step and practice for perhaps someday living on other planets?
Health reasons, possibly, longevity of people’s lives.

Alas, the only way to live on the moon is permanent relocation.

I’ve thought for many years it would be nice to send our worst criminals there one-way, like Botany Bay (not the space ship).
It worked ok for Australia, although perhaps not so much for the residents already previously there. On the moon, they wouldn’t displace anyone.
