As a married man, I can tell you that just about all of these are routinely expected of married men. Sometimes we give in, sometimes not. But that's called "being married", male or female.

The trick, if you can manage it, is to find someone who shares (or at least accepts) your passions and loves who you are.

I suppose one shouldn’t change WHO they are. I think it is impossible in any case. The real you will pop out eventually.

I had some friends back in the late 80’s & 90’s (early 00’s) that got married back then. Their ‘soon to be wives would often brag about how they could ‘change’ their man or ‘train’ them. years later (only one couple did not have kids) when the divorces went into effect, the women were asked what happened. Their response was “He’s not the man I married, He CHANGED”

I am glad I waited for a like minded person to get married to and have children with.
