President Trump told the Washington Examiner that he is "absolutely" thinking about breaking up the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Trump criticized the heavily liberal court that blocked his executive order calling for a Mideast travel ban.
He suggested it would likely uphold the injunction against his withholding of sanctuary cities' federal funds if the Justice Department appeals that ruling.
Trump said that "many people" would support breaking up the "outrageous" bench, adding that he is "absolutely" considering the possibility.

Basically the Ninth is twice as big as any other district.
Breaking it up won’t solve a damn thing. Those simple minded communists judges should be impeached.
Maybe they would break up the 9th and spread justices between two places leaving the other half to be filled with conservatives?
I doubt Congress would do it and potentially threaten their gravy train.
Judges cannot be fired, but their circuits can be amended. Imagine if the current 9th had its appellate jurisdiction reduced to only cases arising from the area under the footprint of the courthouse and paved surfaces sourcing it. The remaining 9th circuit could be given to the new 14th circuit court, all judges to be appointed by 45.
Okay, so how do We The People impeach these vermin judges?

It’s much easier to file law suits against his own EOs and have a friendly judge rule for him. Surely, he knows how to play the game. Beat the libs at their own game.
Yes, I should have said fantasize rather than imagine. But maybe such a proposal from an actual contingent of Congress, which has legitimate plenary authority over these courts would be enough to reign in some of their ridiculous activism.

Exactly. Wouldn’t change a thing that is currently going on.
It will send a much needed message to activist judges around the country, that there will be consequnces to politicizing our courts, and that despite the fact that it has been rarely used, Congress and the Executive branch have considerable power to reign them in.
