Was this a draft for a novel?

he followed proper internal channels by giving the dossier to Sen. John McCain

How could McCain ever be a proper channel?

Didn’t the FBI hire this guy? Who was his client who betrayed him? I am confused.

Hillary hired him?

Mr. Steele’s court filing portrays him as a victim of Fusion GPS — the Washington firm that hired him with money from a Hillary Clinton backer.

Is he admitting this and deflecting blame because Trump’s lawyers started an action (I think I read this a few days ago)?

And, is there any truth to the rumor I heard that Comey and others used this fantasy dossier as the basis for the FISA taps on Trump and related parties?

a “Washington firm” hired by “Clinton backers” hires a British ex-spy who feels the right thing to do is give his fairytale report to JOHN MCCAIN.

What is wrong with this picture????????? and why hasn't McCain been investigated for gullibility or stupidity or collaboration something?

He does all this, puts together this bunch of lies, talks to reporters about it, gives it to a politician who is immune from lawsuit, and who hates President Trump.

Then he says it is not his fault that the dossier got published, because... ah... everyone he gave it too was under an obligation not to publish it?

Let’s see those contractual agreements that his clients signed that insured this fabricated material would not be published.

Should be easy. He says he was assured that material would be kept confidential.

Comey was prepared to pay Steele $50,000 to continue investigating Trump. Comey used Steele's “dossier” as justification to launch his Trump/Russia investigation. Steele was first hired by an anti-Trump GOP entity to gather dirt for the GOP primary. When Trump won the primary Steele went to work for Hillary backers. When the news media wouldn't touch the “dossier” Steele passed it to Comey through John McCain. While Steele was in touch with Comey Buzzfeed published to “dossier” and the sh*tstorm started.

Mr. Steele does not mention another American contact he made: The New York Times reported that the FBI, during an October meeting in Rome, offered him $50,000 to continue investigating Mr. Trump. Presumedly, Mr. Steele would continue to investigate the president as a surrogate for the FBI. The deal, however, did not go through.

Some Republicans have questioned why the FBI would try to put a Democratic-paid opposition researcher on the payroll, especially one who produced a dossier that remains unproven. The Times said the FBI wanted Mr. Steele to provide more proof of his charges.

Well, the FBI is useless and down right F’ing stupid.

That memo, after accusing Mr. Gubarev, then recounts from previous memos a supposed trip Mr. Cohen took to Prague in late August to meet with Russian agents and devise a plan to cover up the purported Trump team’s role in the hacking.

Mr. Cohen calls the dossier “fabricated.” He has shown that he was in California at the time and has never been to Prague. He told The Washington Times that he has instructed his attorneys to investigate a lawsuit against Mr. Steele.

Ha! Now we all know when “the IC” says it's not a terrorist attack, they have no clue what the F they are talking about. “The IC” couldn't figure out Cohen was not in Prague? Really?

I can understand wanting to keep reliable information secret, for example an internal poll or industrial secret.

I also understand the underhanded motivation one might have to make unreliable information public, such as slandering a political enemy.

But what is the point of gathering a bunch of unreliable information and then keeping it secret? Something is fishy about his claims.

Why write the report? He was being paid handsomely by Jeb Bush, the NeverTrump GOPe, and then Hillary. That’s why.

If he gave it to McCain, did McCain give him the money from the FBI?

That’s a big deal.

It almost worked.

Well, hold yer horsies.
That unverified, anti-Trump dossier remains the basis of Demonic-rat Adam Schiff's entire rant and evidence against President Trump and his campaign in the House's Investigation into the alleged "Russian Connection/Collusion."

Recall Schiff reading for 15 minutes at a time during that hearing wherein FBI Director Comey and NSA Chief Rogers testified?

Schiff's information came directly from that crap dossier and only that crap dossier.

Does anyone know who that “anti-Trump GOP entity” is?
