North Korea has said it won’t stop nuclear tests while the US continues with what it perceives as acts of aggression.
In a retaliation to a White House statement outlining how the US will apply economic and diplomatic pressure on North Korea to dismantle its nuclear weapons programme, a Pyongyang official said the country would not be influenced by outside events.
“As long as America continues its hostile acts of aggression, we will never stop nuclear and missile tests,” Sok Chol Won, director of the North’s Institute of Human Rights at the Academy of Social Sciences, told CNN.
“The nuclear test is an important part of our continued efforts to strengthen our nuclear forces.”

I would think that Seoul would be getting very nervous by now. Surprised they themselves haven’t done a pre emptive strike on Pyongyang.
This is one case where regime change and nation building would make sense - as long at the So Koreans do it.
I think at this point the North Korean Bratwurst is trying to stave off assassination/coup efforts by maintaining the bluster. This has the effect of artificially maintaining national cohesion via a common enemy.
I’m not a war-monger - but Trump should draw a simple line:
“Your nuclear tests are a clear and present danger to our nation.
Do one more and we will take out your ability to perform another.”

They will NEVER give up their nuke and missile tests. Never!!!!! They will cease only once the DPRK ceases, or its key leadership is decapitated, sad to say. They will not go willingly.
