Sick of the incessant whining. Trump is doing a fine job.

In before the apologists saying it’s a great deal for us, yada yada yada... We got $21B for military. Blah blah blah... It was Obama’s budget and Trunp couldn’t do anything...

Bullshit. Planned Parenthood in it. Refugee resettlement is in it.. Tons more gifts to dems.

WE WON! Why are we even talking to dims anyway? Prepare a sane budget, and ram it through!! We have all 3 branches of government. Unreal.

He got rolled. Weak kneed. Gave up leverage. It wont be better next time.

Or..this was his plan all along. I dont believe that. His ego is too big to always look like a failure.

Congress isnt a business. It is a cut throat bureaucracy.you gotta use your leverage

If we ever want to “make America great again”, we need to return to those values.

Or a secession.

Miss me yet?

I don’t feel betrayed by Trump, he’s trying to lead and deal with a bunch of arrogant, slimey maggots. When he is away from DC, the swamp is much worse. I want more action from Pence and Sessions. Where are they? If he demoted Kushner, I’d be happier.

Why is this bilge allowed on FR?

Are there that many Freepers here who are never Trumpers?

Turns off many of us..

..Have you forgotten, or did you ever know who the real enemy is?

Trump and the Republicans are promising that they will fight harder “next time”, but we have already heard that empty promise from Republicans year after year going all the way back to 2011.

"Next time, dear voter! We really, really mean it!"

I brought this up in the other thread, in brief, if spending bills require 60 votes; can’t this bill still be stopped?

There are 52 Republican Senators, 46 Democratic Senators and 2 independents, one being Bernie so he’ll side with the Dems, so that would mean 12-14 Republican Senators would have to vote for this too.

You would think, the Repubs could get 41 votes to stop this; but I’m not sure of the rules and protocol.

At the same time, I can see if Planned Parenthood were defunded in this vehicle, then, it sounds like it would be hard to get 60 votes for the bill.

I think DJT has come to realize how deep the swamp really is.

I wouldn’t want to be one of these feckless GOPe characters come September. Trump has a big mouth and will not be restrained by niceties. He might start to name names and who are funding them...on both sides of the aisle.

(while I know this isn’t popular or right, I kinda enjoy knowing that all the spying authority that Obama claimed for himself, now belongs to DJT)

Gingrich said it stops him from building a concrete wall but not a steel or any other wall. This was Obama’s continuing resolution. Yes, a defeat but he did not have the votes for anything else.

I wouldn’t call it betrayal. Trump is up against the Army of Satan. Satan has to be burned out. You don’t politely ask a stump to leave your yard. You don’t drain stumps. You hammer chains into them and yank them out with pickup trucks or use tnt

Gosh - I have to keep checking to see if I'm actually on FR - so many concern trolls and folks who haven't a clue about what it is to live in reality vs. their own wet dream fantasies doing their best to instill doubt about Trump and weaken him so he has an even tougher row to hoe - all the while deluding themselves that they are providing a public service.

You and those like you would be crying if Reagan was President today - go someplace more in line with your efforts - concern troll/snowflake.

The real betrayal is from the RINOs/GOPe and folks on FR who do their best to weaken an already besieged friend of the People.

“Overall, the compromise resembles more of an Obama administration-era budget than a Trump one,” Bloomberg reports.
The Associated Press calls it “a lowest-common-denominator measure that won’t look too much different than the deal that could have been struck on Obama’s watch last year.”
Reuters: “While Republicans control the House, Senate and White House, Democrats scored … significant victories in the deal.”
The Los Angeles Times describes the agreement as “something of an embarrassment to the White House”: “Trump engineered the fiscal standoff shortly after he was elected, insisting late last year that Congress should fund the government for only a few months so he could put his stamp on federal spending as the new president.”

...

It’s rather discouraging to see what news sources are trusted when it comes to planting a knife in Trump’s back.
