Maybe some of you have read how the late Richard M. Nixon in the summer of 1960 went to see Nelson Rockefeller and caved on all of Rocky’s liberal demands. The Nixon-Lodge ticket was history from that point forward. The first Henry Cabot Lodge, however, didn’t take flack from Woodrow Wilson.
