Feminist mom, Leah McLaren has two sons who are your typical rough and tumble young boys. McLaren was offended by her youngest son who is only 3 years old after he rejected ‘girlish’ things and vows to turn him into a ‘proud princess whether he likes it or not’.
Liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

The other day I was sitting in the park with James, 3, when I picked a dandelion and handed it to him as a present. “No way, Mummy,” he said, pushing away my gift. “Flowers are pretty and I’m a boy.”
And I thought: That’s it. I’m signing him up for ballet.
Wonderful! So her innocent 3 year old boy rejects flowers and she’s going to punish him by putting him in ballet with all girls who wear pink tutus. But wait, there’s more…

I went to school... I saw what happens. In chorus, in band, in orchestra. I played the contra-bass. The violin, viola, and cello sections were predominately girls... I always had a date. Always! Without fail. High school was wonderful in that regard. And summer orchestra camps... phenomenal. Heck, the tuba players in marching band even had dates... I can only imagine ballet would provide even greater opportunities!
This woman is deluded in thinking otherwise.
My friend was a ballerina, her husband once told her that if he’d been smart he would have been in ballet;). Always surrounded by beautiful women!
There’s a few boys in the younger classes at my daughters’ dance studio. They are treated as boys and wear bow ties and cumberbands that match the girls’ costumes. Ballet classes won’t make him less masculine because the instructor probably isn’t mentally ill like the mom.
It use to be a joke to say the parent wanted a daughter/son so they treated the daughter or son as the opposite... and sometimes not a joke. Now however, these parents wanting to queer their kids can come out of the closet as proud and righteous? That is way wrong.
Iamgine if this was a queer boy and his parent was trying to force him to be hetero, “whether he likes it or not.” The fagscists would be howling like monkeys.
Child abuse. Her son should be in a home that appreciates him for who he is, and where his mother would not be mentally ill.
Mom will probably sue if he isn't given the same costume as the girls. She isn't just putting him in ballet. She's trying to turn him into a princess.
There are two possible explanations for this mother's behavior. Neither very pleasant. She's lying about the entire event to both gain attention and virtue signal -or- she's a sociopath who sees nothing wrong with using her own child as a prop. Actually, both could be true.
What the child supposedly said is a giveaway on this story being a fabrication. A three-year-old's speech patterns wouldn't be this sophisticated. "No way"? At 3, a child is more likely just to say "No", without any explanation. It is unlikely a child would provide such an extensive reason for their action. When questioned why, the average 3-year-old would likely just answer "because" or "because, I don't like it".
I’d love to be a fly on the wall when he makes the full-auto noise, as most boys do when they are 3.
It is one thing to make kids do an activity as part of their education, it is completely another to force them as punishment.
One way or another, this doesn’t end well for their relationship. I just hope he doesn’t end up hating women because of her actions.
I took up ballet when I was 7 to 9, it helped with football when I was in high school. Nothing wrong with ballet if you aren’t forced into it.

She may try, but ballet performances are a big deal-the studio can’t let a dance mom ruin their reputation.

PC Principal tried to teach me that what we are is 20% "nature" and 80% "nurture". I've come to learn that it's actually 80% "nature" and 20% "nurture".
Most normal, healthy guys between the ages of 15 and, well, age 99 would enjoy being the only guy in a class with a dozen females. (Their wives might not!)
So I'm not at all worried for the kid. I think the next 20 years are going to be a "learning experience" for mom. It would be interesting to be her next door neighbor for the next 20 years.

There is no science behind this. Homosexuality COULD just be a mental illness. The reason that it's not generally CONSIDERED a mental illness was that about 1/3 of the members of the American Psychiatric Association VOTED that it wasn't a mental illness in 1974.
This year her blog is about taking him to his first woman’s march in London. There is a Dad at the breakfast table who is not particularly supportive of her excesses.
