Farr’s character Klinger exclaimed several times in his attempts for a section 8 psycho discharge “Allah Be Praised” among other things. Probably part of Klinger’s crazy act.
Farr in real life is a devout Roman Catholic - his Lebanese ancestors were Christian. He has also identified himself as a Republican. Danny Thomas was an acting mentor when he was getting into show business.
Both Dr Ben and our President were very good friends of the Thomas family. They met in their supporting activities of ST JUDE.
