None of that stuff is particularly good for your health and if you just have to consume lots of sugars, citric acid and the rest of that garbage there are alternatives. Many of them cheaper to begin with.

Philadelphia has a soda tax. IIRC, distributors had to let 80-90 go from the downturn in sales.
