There have been a lot of leaks aimed at damaging the Trump administration. I think President Trump knows exactly where they are coming from.

Since Comey, the honest man that he is, would only leak the truth, the tapes should vindicate him, not intimidate him. I don’t get it.
He is going against a media tsunami of bad press, unlike anything in history. Most of the unnamed source leaks are not leaks at all, but fabricated from thin air nonsense. The media has lost all ethics and sense of journalism.
I don't want my only source of news to be fake news. I need the counter that he provides to help me judge the truthfulness of the story (not that I agree with him 100% of the time, but need balance). And the press needs something to keep them in check, since Republicans are useless and working against him with the Democrats.
Anything that reduces the influence of the Washington “press corps” has to be good.
