DVRs viewings raise hob with ratings. Especially if viewers blow through the commercials. If ABC needed a hook to hang its hat on, they may have used DVR ratings to justify this decision. Glad I’m not a shareholder.
You betcha that I fast-forward commercials, because I hate them. If it were after me there would only be commercials for a specific time and only for certain minutes. When I grew up in Germany they showed nothing but commercials at 6:00 pm for 15 minutes.
