By the time an independent prosecutor was appointed in connection with the proposed Nixon impeachment there had been proven crimes with arrests, indictments and convictions, all of which are absent in today’s situation.
This is politics only, they got nothin’, and now they’ve got Mueller who just might tell them so out loud in a way that can’t be denied.
