Ousting Donald Trump through constitutional trickery would bring America to its knees
The London Telegraph ^ | May 19, 2017 | Dr. Charles Krauthammer

Posted on 05/19/2017 11:13:17 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

The pleasant surprise of Donald Trump’s First 100 Days is over. The action was hectic, heated, often confused, but well within the bounds of normality. Policy (e.g. health care) was being hashed out, a Supreme Court nominee confirmed, foreign policy challenges (e.g. North Korea) addressed.

Donald Trump’s character – volatile, impulsive, often self-destructive – had not changed since the campaign. But it seemed as if the guardrails of our democracy – Congress, the courts, the states, the media, the Cabinet – were keeping things within bounds.

Then came the past 10 days. The country is now caught in the internal maelstrom that is the mind of Donald Trump. We are in the realm of the id. Chaos reigns. No guardrails can hold....

The Democrats did it once to Nixon. They controlled all the elements of the bureaucracy and the media to conduct a soft-coup.

It happens quite often in politics. Look how Scooter Libby was taken down, as an attack on Bush, on the utterly asinine Valerie Plame case

If they get away with it again, the Republic is dead, in my view. Elections mean nothing.

The wild thrashing of the ball pythons revealed by the draining of the DC swamp is a sight to behold, but still, one should beware of being too close to the action if not ready for the confrontation. Those ball pythons will strangle you and swallow you whole if you do not deliver a death stroke immediately.

Machetes at the ready, troops! Take no prisoners.

Trump’s biggest problem as President is that he vowed to destroy the power structure in DC, drain the swamp. The power structure took him seriously and now is working overtime to destroy him. I don’t think he understood the lengths, ruthless means and weapons the power elite would use or go to in order to preserve their own power. Now we know. This is a war to the finish. Either he destroys and gets rid of them or they will get rid of him.

The media has all the power.

And all of the reporters are hard core communists/liberals .

The media creates the false reality we live in.

Most people believe 2 media hoaxes , global warming and this media hoax that Trump committed impeachable offenses.

For years we have watched democrats and other libtards run amok counting on the fact that patriots observe rules and law and act in a civil manner.

But if the democrats actually succeed in destroying the president they will likely find that they have gone too far and poked the hornets nest once too often.

When the anarchists take over and the other side has had enough of their juvenile criminality and their politics of hate and personal destruction democrats will likely find they are getting more than they bargained for.

That is it in a nutshell.

If the establishment overturned the results of the election over frivolous nonsense, the question is: How many old (or perhaps younger) guys who once spent a lot of time with weapons would stand up to deliver the message?

Democrats and real Americans all thought Comey needed to go, but Trump firing him is treated as an issue.

Democrats and patriotic Americans used to think we had anti-terrorist concerns in common with Russia, but Trump sharing anti-terrorist information with them is treated as an issue.

Everything Trump says or does was either premature, so it requires a special prosecutor and possible impeachment, or it was too late, so it requires a special prosecutor and possible impeachment. I no longer trust anything from the establishment, whether elected to a public office they intend to profit from or self-declared elites who work in the media. I expect this to get very ugly, although I hope I am wrong.

Actually, ball pythons are small (maximum 6 ft, with males typically being shorter than 5 ft.) Also, ball pythons are extremely shy and docile, which is why they are highly preferred as pets for snake lovers, and why they appear so often in movies when a snake is required for an on-screen with an actor.

Adult male ball python:

Perhaps you are thinking of a different kind of python, like Fluffy, the reticulated python pictured below:
