Wish I could get further than a walk to the mailbox. Ahat ortho guy said the knee is bone on bone. Thing is, everyone else disagrees. He won’t even consider repairing the meniscus and said no to a replacement. No injections, pain meds or rooster comb treatment. Shocker, I’m carrying more pounds than I should! I’ve been on 1000 calories/day due to not being able to move much. Ahat said to starve. Wow, such support and encouragement.
Took the dog to the vet yesterday. The vet is doing everything he can to make her feel comfortable with meds and treatment for a torn leg ligament, tumors and possible cancer. Maybe I should move my records to the vet.
Will pray for you, for some relief.
When our dog had a torn ligament we were told to get Absorbine Veternary Rub, can buy it in Amazon, we get it at local horse store.
We rubbed it on him 2 times a day, he is fine now.
Hubby and I use it when we have an ache or pain.

another ortho for a second opinion.

That’s just insulting and outrageous!
I had a coworker who was overweight, and they replaced BOTH of her knees, and she came through just fine!
