Notre Dame has gone decidedly to the far left over the past 20 years esp. in some internal special subdivisions re the “peace studies” crap.
Glad to see the some students, parents and staff know how to show respect to a speaker regardless of who they are.

My college commencements featured then VP Hubert Humphrey, and later NAACP leader Benjamin Hooks who bored the shit out of us (outside in 85+* weather and us in heavy graduation gowns). But nobody back then ever thought of showing disrespect to any speaker if they disagreed with them.
The Marxist and Black Extremist Left has now made a career out of doing that are graduations. Soon the worm will turn and some protestors will be looking for their heads instead of a job. I can feel it coming.
“Peace Studies” types have guaranteed themselves a lifetime of debt for that so-called “degree” ! WHO in their right mind would hire one???
